Find M-Files documents with Spotlight
Press ⌘Space and type a document's name: Spotlight shows your recent and offline M-Files documents next to your other files. Choose one to open it in M-Client.
What Spotlight finds
- The objects in your Recent tab and your offline documents, in the vaults you are signed in to.
- Only their name, class, object type, vault and last-modified date. The contents of the files are never added to Spotlight.
- Items leave Spotlight after 30 days, and when you log out of a vault or remove its connection.
Turn it on or off
Open M-Client ▸ Settings… (⌘,) ▸ General ▸ Spotlight. Show recent and offline documents in Spotlight is on by default. Turning it off removes everything M-Client added. The Remove from Spotlight button removes the items as well.
