Shortcuts and Siri
M-Client adds four actions to the Shortcuts app. Use them on their own, in your own shortcuts, or with Siri.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Find Document | Searches a vault in M-Client and shows the results. It asks what to Search for. |
| Show My Assignments | Opens the Assigned tab. |
| Add File to M-Files | Opens the metadata card for the Files you give it, like Add to M-Files in Finder. |
| Open View | Opens a view of the Views tab by its name or ID. |
Each action has a Vault option. Leave it empty to use the vault that is open, or your only vault.
Siri
Say, for example:
- Show my assignments in M-Client
- Find a document in M-Client or Search in M-Client
- Add a file to M-Client
- Open a view in M-Client
Siri phrases work in English.
