M-Client has three widgets for the desktop and Notification Center:

  • My assignments
  • Checked out to me
  • Recent documents

Add a widget

  1. Right-click the desktop and choose Edit Widgets…, or click the date and time in the menu bar and choose Edit Widgets.
  2. Search for M-Client, pick a widget and a size, from small to extra large, and drag it to the desktop or click it.

Choose the vault

Each widget shows one vault, or all of them. Right-click the widget, choose Edit followed by the widget's name, and pick the Vault: All vaults, or one of your vaults under its connection's name. With only one vault, the widget uses it without asking. With several and none chosen yet, the widget reminds you to choose one.

Use a widget

  • Click a row to open that object in M-Client. With All vaults, each row shows its vault and opens there.
  • When a list has more items than fit, use ‹ and › next to the count to page through them, for example 2/3.
  • The extra large size shows two columns of eight items.
