Download and install M-Client
- Download M-Client from www.m-client.com. You also find the link in your trial e-mail and in My licenses.
- Open the downloaded disk image (
.dmg). - Drag M-Client onto the Applications shortcut in the same window.
- Open M-Client from your Applications folder or Launchpad.
M-Client is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so macOS opens it without warnings.
The first launch
The first time it starts, M-Client shows the License window. Sign in with your M-Client account, open a license file, buy a subscription or start a free trial. See Activate M-Client on your Mac.
M-Client also switches on its Finder extension, so you can right-click files in Finder and add them to M-Files. See Add files to M-Files from Finder.
Updates
When a new version is available, M-Client tells you once at launch and offers a Download button. Install it the same way: drag the new version to Applications and replace the old one. Your connections, saved passwords and settings stay as they are.
