M-Files properties in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Templates prepared with M-Files for Windows often show metadata inside the document, such as the customer name or the document number. M-Client fills these fields on the Mac, with no add-in:
- when you create a document from such a template, with the values of the card;
- each time you check out and open a document, with its current metadata.
It uses the same field format as M-Files for Windows, so documents look the same for your colleagues on Windows.
