How M-Client licensing works
- Per user, per year. You buy a number of seats, $599 per seat per year. Each seat is one license.
- One Mac per license. A license is assigned to a Mac by its serial number. On that Mac it works for every vault and connection.
- Your account. In My licenses you see your seats, assign them to Macs, download license files and free a license for another Mac.
- A check at every launch. M-Client checks its license with www.m-client.com each time it starts. Without a connection it keeps working for 72 hours.
- Moves. A license can move to a different Mac once every 30 days.
What the check sends
The Mac's serial number, the license identifier and the app version. M-Client never sends your documents, metadata or M-Files credentials to us. See our Privacy Policy.
