  1. Sign in to the same vault with M-Files Web in a browser, using the same server address. If that fails, contact your M-Files administrator.
  2. Make sure M-Files Web is enabled on the server. M-Client needs it.
  3. Check the server address in Settings ▸ Connections: it must start with https://.
  4. Check the sign-in type: an M-Files user or a Windows user, with the right domain.
  5. If you are on a VPN or a company network, make sure your Mac can reach the server.
