M-Client opens links to objects and views of your vaults:

  • M-Files Web links, like the ones Copy link creates in M-Files Web.
  • m-files://show/… and m-files://view/… links.

Click such a link, or copy it and choose File ▸ Open M-Files Link… (⇧⌘L): the field is filled from the clipboard. M-Client finds the vault among your connections and opens it if needed.

Copy internal link in M-Client creates a web link, so colleagues on Windows or the web can open it too.
